An expiration date may be printed on your gift certificate; however, the certificate is valid forever. We do not enforce the expiration date.

You need not have a specific show in mind. Ticket prices range from $39 (for a matinee in our smaller theatres) to $74 (for a Saturday evening). For example, a certificate for $151.75 covers the cost of two dinner and show tickets (for any performance in any of our theatres), tax, and a ticket handling fee. Any remaining dollars will be refunded in the form of credit vouchers that your guest may use in the theatre for any ala carte items, at our gift cart, or even in our Gift Shop.

Just call our box office to redeem your gift certificate and make your reservation. Be sure to have your gift certificate available. We will need the numbers from the certificate when you make your ticket reservation.

Please remember that a gift certificate is not an actual ticket to a performance, it needs to be redeemed toward a ticket purchase.

Print-At-Home Instructions

1. After you have submitted your gift certificate purchase, click on the "Download Tickets" button. You will automatically receive an email to the address you supplied when setting up your online account with us.

2. Within 15-30 minutes an email message will be sent to you. (Please make sure you have given us a valid email address.) The From name will be "Tickets" The Subject line will read "Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Purchase#000000."

3. The email will include a PDF attachment either in the body of the message or at the very bottom, depending on your type of mailbox (i.e. Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo...)

4. The email contains an INVOICE which is a receipt of your payment. The invoice may not be redeemed as a gift certificate.

5. Double click to open the PDF attachment and view your gift certificate(s). Each gift certificate will be its own page; if you ordered 4 gift certificates you'll have 4 pages that will print out.

6. With the PDF document open, you may click on the "print" icon in your email toolbar (at the top of the page) or choose "print" from the File menu at the top of the page.

7. With a scissor, cut out the certificate. The recipient may redeem the gift certificate by calling the box office or coming to the theatre to make a reservation.
