For the past 15 years, poetry has been an endless source of
inspiration for composer, Michael Gruber.
In DREAMS, FABLES and CAUTIONARY TALES, it is the wit, wisdom
and aesthetic splendor of great American and British verse
that sparkle in Mr. Gruber’s musical settings.
Emily Dickenson, Lewis Carroll, Tennessee Williams,
Dorothy Parker, W. H. Auden, C.S. Lewis and many others are
celebrated in an evening of razor sharp humor and
insight set to music composed by Mr. Gruber.
Vocalists Kersten Rodau, Dieter Bierbrauer and
Janet Hayes-Trow will join Mr. Gruber.
Accompanied by Mindy Eschedor on piano
and Paul Hill on percussion.
